We are seeking an Automotive Technical Instructor to help shape the next generation of dealership technicians by delivering engaging, hands-on training across a broad range of automotive technologies. What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging instructor-led training programs based on OEM service curriculum.
- Facilitate both classroom and virtual training sessions for dealership technicians.
- Provide hands-on instruction focused on diagnostics, repair procedures, powertrain technologies, and transmission systems.
- Support technicians in developing advanced troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Manage and execute training schedules through Cornerstone LMS and other learning platforms.
- Collaborate with technical teams to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
- Ensure training vehicles, equipment, and learning environments remain fully operational and aligned with OEM standards.
- Stay current on emerging automotive technologies and industry best practices.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 5+ years of hands-on automotive diagnostic and repair experience.
- Strong experience with automatic and/or manual transmission systems, including diagnostics and repair.
- Experience working with powertrain, drivability, and advanced vehicle systems.
- Provincial or Interprovincial Automotive Technician License (310S, Red Seal, or equivalent).
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable leading training sessions both in-person and virtually.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and training technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- OEM dealership experience.
- Experience using OEM diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and advanced troubleshooting methods.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
