Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the team include the production of relevant, timely and accurate financial information for internal and external reporting purpose; as well as the analysis of Group performance.ย
- Member of the team responsible for the delivery of the Group’s financial reports
- Participate in the review of accounting treatment and financial disclosures of the Group’s product and services
- Participate in Finance projects initiatives which involve process reviews, system enhancements and new systems implementation
- Implement procedures and internal controls over the preparation of financial reports
- Responsible for the monthly financial accounts closing process
- Responsible for the preparation, review and analysis of the Group’s financial performance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements as well as Group accounting policies
- Responsible for the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and other financial information as required by the relevant authorities
- Participate in Finance projects initiatives which involve process reviews, system enhancements and new systems implementation
- Implement procedures and internal controls over the preparation of financial reports
- Handle ad-hoc assignments when necessary

Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or a related field with 2-3 years of relevant working experience; Big 4 firm experience is advantageous.
- Proficient in accounting principles, including SFRS(I), with an added advantage for expertise in financial instruments.
- Strong financial reporting background. Familiarity with financial reporting process in a large financial services company would be a plus.
- Good knowledge of financial products and services.
- Keen analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and comfort dealing with high volumes of data and financial numbers.
- Strong team player with maturity and strong communication skills across all levels.
