In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Governance & Strategic Oversight

• Drive governance across GFMT technology portfolios, ensuring effective delivery, prioritization, and alignment of strategic initiatives and platform roadmaps
• Lead Platform Governance Board (PGB) reviews, executive reporting, scorecard management, and performance tracking across multiple technology domains
• Provide executive oversight of project health, delivery milestones and investment outcomes across strategic programs                                                                                                                                    

Financial Management & Investment Governance

• Partner stakeholders on budget planning, actual Investment and PnL tracking, forecast reviews, and financial governance activities
• Review business cases and participate in funding approval processes
• Oversee technology ownership cost management, depreciation planning, software licensing reviews, and financial optimization
• Engage overseas approvers on inter-company billing and cost allocation processes, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and stakeholder alignment
• Manage the end-to-end budget management process for the Global Financial Markets Technology department, including forecasting and variance analysis

Murex Access & restricted Governance

• Enforcing strict operational security by maintaining a clear access trail for the login/logout timestamps, along with before and after screenshots of the changes done in Murex system. 
• Performs meticulous, line-by-line validation of incoming Murex requests against baseline System Owner authorisations, ensuring the requested work aligns with what was approved, or sending back any mismatched / non-conforming requests for re-approval.
• Exercises high-agility task switching to attend to high-priority, urgent Murex requests immediately, ensuring minimal delays and efficient support for all requesters, delivering zero-delay execution.

Executive Stakeholder Management

• Identify and implement process improvements in financial tracking, reporting automation, and data reconciliation.
• Serve as a key liaison between technology leadership, finance, risk, and business stakeholders to drive decision-making and delivery outcomes
• Prepare executive-level presentations, management updates, scorecards, and governance materials for senior leadership review
• Executive assistant to GFMT Head of Department and department workplace and welfare champion

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding on legacy Murex Production environment
• Ability to accelerate adoption, seamlessly manage and navigating the newly released Murex Upgrade
• Capability to instantly identify and reject out-of-scope submissions, filtering out requests that fall outside the team's operational c
• Competent use in DBS inhouse system Genesis and understanding of Platform Standards
• Accounting knowledge on budget, project investment and financial status (Investment, P&L)
• Knowledge on software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with project management office function and attention to details
• Solid hand-on experience in spreadsheet and PowerPoint processing and other Microsoft office applications for tracking and reporting
• General knowledge of procurement/contract
