Boiler Commissioning
- Execute pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and performance testing activities of Boiler systems.
- Review commissioning procedures, checklists, P&IDs, engineering drawings, and vendor manuals.
- Carry out system flushing, steam blowing, hydro tests, leak tests, and functional checks.
- Commission pressure parts, fuel firing systems, APH, fans, soot blowers, coal firing systems, and associated auxiliaries.
- Monitor boiler light-up activities, steam generation, synchronization support, and load ramp-up.
- Analyze commissioning parameters and resolve operational issues during startup.
- Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and cross-functional teams for smooth commissioning execution.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
- Commission Dry Ash, Bottom Ash, Fly Ash, HCSD/Lean Slurry systems, and Ash Water Recovery systems.
- Perform testing and commissioning of ash handling equipment such as:
- Pneumatic Conveying Systems
- Ash Silos
- Vacuum/Pressure Conveying Systems
- Ash Conditioners
- Slurry Disposal Systems
- Hydro Ejectors and Pumps
- Verify equipment healthiness and readiness prior to commissioning.
- Conduct interlock checks, loop checks, functional testing, and performance trials.
- Troubleshoot operational issues related to ash conveying, pumping, and disposal systems.
- Ensure ash evacuation systems meet design and environmental compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, C&I, Civil, and Operations teams during commissioning activities.
- Track commissioning schedules and highlight critical issues impacting project timelines.
- Prepare commissioning reports, punch point closure reports, and startup documentation.
- Ensure strict implementation of PTW, LOTO, HIRA, and commissioning safety procedures.
- Participate in startup reviews and reliability improvement initiatives.
Diploma/ BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical.
Exp - 6-8 Years.
