Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic and people-focused Manager (L3 – Advanced) to join VNC Global's ANZA team.
Portfolio Owner (Entry). Manages client compliance relationships for a portfolio under guidance, overseeing team capability building. Focuses on stakeholder engagement. First level with portfolio-wide accountability.
The ideal candidate brings strong Effective Communication & Stakeholder Engagement and Coaching & Mentoring skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
The goal is to strengthen VNC Global's Client Compliance & Service Excellence (AU Tax) and Team Oversight & Capability Building capability, helping clients and internal stakeholders achieve consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage client compliance relationships for a portfolio, ensuring BAS/IAS/Year-End obligations are met and client satisfaction maintained.
- Oversee team task allocation and support capability building across the team.
- Builds trust through transparent, timely, and persuasive communication with clients and internal teams.
- Effectively support and guide colleagues by sharing knowledge, offering clear instructions, and fostering team development.
- Provide technical sign-off on complex AU compliance matters (BAS/IAS disputes, ATO queries, payroll compliance) escalated from managers and team leads.
- Set and monitor compliance quality standards and review protocols across the department's AU client portfolio.
- Stay current on ATO/AU statutory requirements and platform capabilities to guide the department's technical direction.
- Own portfolio-level outcomes and represent the function to senior internal and client stakeholders.
- Mentor and build the leadership pipeline within the department (team leads/managers).
- Contribute to department-level strategy, planning and budgeting alongside senior leadership.
