About this role

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Australian Accounting & Compliance Executive to manage accounting, bookkeeping, reporting and compliance activities for Australian clients/entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle day-to-day Australian bookkeeping, AP, AR and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports and accounting records.
  • Assist with BAS, GST, PAYG, STP and other Australian compliance requirements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end accounting activities.
  • Coordinate with Australian clients and internal accounting teams.
  • Ensure timely completion of accounting and compliance deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support audits when required.
  • Work on platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, Dext and Business Central.
Required Skills
  • 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience with Australian accounting exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting and compliance processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Xero/QBO preferred.
  • Strong Excel, reconciliation and financial reporting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • B.COM/M.COM/MBA/CA/CPA/ACCA/CMA or relevant accounting qualification will be an advantage.
