Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who will help design, develop, integrate, and scale AI-powered solutions that support product, architecture, development, merge review, and quality assurance processes.

As part of the team, you will be involved in creating intelligent AI agents and agentic workflows that automate and optimise key stages of the engineering lifecycle. The focus is on improving software quality, engineering productivity, consistency, and delivery speed while enabling AI-assisted development across cross-platform mobile applications.

Responsibilities

  • Review, validate, and improve AI-generated code to ensure production readiness and maintainability.
  • Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Kotlin and Java technologies.
  • Build and maintain scalable event-driven and cloud-native architectures.
  • Define software architecture patterns, technical standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with AI Engineers to ensure generated solutions align with architectural and business requirements.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of APIs, backend services, and integration layers.
  • Drive code quality through reviews, testing strategies, CI/CD practices, and automation.
  • Support AI-assisted development workflows using modern AI-native engineering tools.
  • Ensure security, performance, reliability, and scalability across software solutions.
  • Work closely with product, architecture, platform, and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong software engineering background with extensive hands-on experience in Kotlin and Java development.
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications and services.
  • Strong expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience building cloud-native solutions and working within AWS environments.
  • Deep understanding of code quality, testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.
  • Experience reviewing and mentoring engineering teams on production-grade implementations.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Amazon Q, Kiro, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of Generative AI concepts and experience working with AI-generated code and engineering workflows.
  • Experience integrating APIs, backend services, messaging systems, and distributed architectures.
  • Ability to balance engineering excellence, delivery outcomes, and AI-enabled innovation.
