Job Description

Arηs Group, Part of Accenture, is looking for an experienced AI Coach to drive the adoption of AI-enabled practices within software engineering teams for one of our clients, a global technology leader with a strong focus on advanced healthcare technologies."

This role focuses on maximizing the value of AI-assisted development while promoting responsible, scalable, and compliant ways of working. As AI Coach, you will contribute to enhancing developer productivity, strengthening engineering practices, and establishing sustainable governance frameworks for AI usage. ARHS Developments Belgium

Role & Responsibilities

AI Adoption & Coaching

• Drive the adoption of AI tools and AI-enabled ways of working across software development teams.
• Coach engineers and technical teams on the effective use of GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development practices.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement high-value AI use cases throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support teams in transitioning from experimentation to repeatable, scalable, and measurable AI-driven processes.
• Act as a trusted advisor for engineering leaders and development teams on AI adoption strategies.

Software Engineering Excellence

• Promote software engineering best practices in AI-assisted development environments.
• Define and support standards relating to AI-generated code quality, testing, documentation, security, and maintainability.
• Guide teams on balancing AI capabilities with human expertise and engineering judgment.
• Ensure appropriate human oversight remains embedded within software delivery processes.
• Encourage continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across engineering teams.

Governance & Responsible AI

• Contribute to the definition and implementation of governance frameworks for AI usage within software development.
• Establish practical guidelines covering:
  • Human-in-the-loop validation
  • Prompt engineering best practices
  • Secure coding principles
  • Responsible use of AI-generated content
• Support the implementation of monitoring and reporting mechanisms related to AI usage and consumption.
• Promote compliance, security, and ethical AI practices throughout the organization.

Training & Change Management

• Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and coaching programs.
• Create practical learning materials tailored to software engineers, technical leads, architects, and managers.
• Develop and nurture communities of practice and networks of AI champions.
• Lead change management initiatives supporting AI adoption across teams.
• Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities with the ability to influence technical teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven facilitation skills for workshops, training sessions, and collaborative discussions.
• Strong change management and organizational transformation experience.
• Empathetic and approachable, with excellent listening skills.
• Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
• Proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset.
• Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and developer enablement.
• Professional proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Ability to facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, and training programs in both languages.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in software engineering, software architecture, or technical leadership roles.
• Hands-on background in software development and software delivery.
• Proven expertise with modern software engineering practices, including:
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • DevOps methodologies
  • Test automation
  • Code review processes
• Extensive experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted software development.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Prompt engineering techniques
  • AI agents and agentic workflows
  • AI-enabled software development practices
• Knowledge of software quality, security, maintainability, and engineering governance.
• Experience establishing standards and frameworks for responsible AI adoption in engineering environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and optimization practices related to AI usage and consumption.

Any of the following would be considered an asset

• Experience leading developer productivity initiatives.
• Previous involvement in enterprise-wide AI adoption programs.
• Experience building communities of practice and internal training programs.
• Knowledge of Responsible AI and secure AI implementation frameworks.
