What We're Looking For:
What You’ll DoCode & Debug: Assist in developing, testing, and troubleshooting non-Windows SDKs and utility tools.
Agile Collaboration: Participate in Scrum sprint planning and daily engineering stand-ups.

What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong programming foundation (OOP concepts) with an interest or familiarity in C#, Java, C++, or mobile development.
Basic understanding of non-Windows operating systems (Android, iOS, or Linux).
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative attitude.

Our Advanced Data Capture (ADC) Software Engineering team in Sri Lanka is at the forefront of building intelligent data capture solutions, including RFID and advanced scanner tools.
We are looking for a passionate Software Engineering Intern to join our Non-Windows SDKs and Tools (NWTUT) team for a 6-month period. In this role, you will work on mission-critical utilities and Software Development Kits (SDKs) that power Zebra’s data capture devices across Android, iOS, and Linux platforms.
What You Will Do
Develop & Innovate: Assist in the design, development, and testing of software tools and SDKs for non-Windows environments (Android, iOS, Linux).
Collaborate: Work closely with Technical Leads and Senior Engineers (including participating in daily stand-ups and Agile/Scrum sprint planning) to deliver high-quality software.
Problem Solve: Help troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to device connectivity, data parsing, and scanner utilities.
Learn & Grow: Gain hands-on experience with enterprise-grade hardware, including composite devices and RFID technology, while being mentored by industry experts.
What We Are Looking For
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Foundational knowledge in object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Swift, C++, or Python).
Familiarity with non-Windows operating systems (Android, iOS, or Linux) is highly preferred.
Basic understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
