Working student or Intern (f/m/d) Business Development

The department Carbon Capture and Utilization / Storage (CCUS) in Heidelberg is looking for an Intern (f/m/d) or Working Student (20h/week, up to full-time during semester break).

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

• Contribute to the CO2 Neutrality Roadmap 2050, i.e., pro-actively shape the success story of Heidelberg Materials’ decarbonization journey

• Support the development of a range of CCUS (Carbon Capture and Utilization/Storage) projects in close collaboration within our CCUS department

• Interaction with our various business entities in different countries and also external partner firms is possible

• As an integral part of the Team, working on own projects with own responsibilities (with clear guidance), preparing analyses, business cases, and presentations

• Support organization of key events within CCUS

• Support the CCUS department in its role of building and exchanging know-how (research, scouting, and structuring reports)

YOUR PROFILE

• Technical and/or business administration Bachelor's or Master's degree studies, with a strong interest in sustainability/carbon capturing/decarbonization

• Keen to dive into the detailed technical and financial aspects of CCUS project development

• Ability to digest new information swiftly

• Experience with Power Point, Excel. Optional: other Microsoft office tools, AI tools

• Dynamic attitude and willingness to interact with our CCUS team, and external/internal stakeholders

• Available to support the team for a period of at least 6 months, preferably up to 12 months
