Lucas Tree Experts, a leader in the tree care industry, is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as a Work Planner.  The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, punctual and reliable with strong communication, customer service, time-management and organization skills. The preferred candidate will have experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, and the android mobile platform; experience with GIS or other computerized mapping software a bonus but not required.

The candidate for this position will be required to pass a Winnipeg Police Service Reliability Screening.  A Class 5 or 5i license is required, while Class 3 would be an asset.

This is a full time, year-round, position with overtime availability. Duties: Ensuring good public relations and a positive company image. Coordinating with property owner's and utility customers. Making necessary contacts with utility customer representatives and ensuring projects stay on schedule.  Ensuring compliance with established safety policies and procedures. Working with Management to ensure work is mapped and planned accordingly, and all necessary permissions are attained in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS:   
Must be professional with strong communication skills.

Must be able to work 45 hours weekly, and overtime as necessary.
Must be able to travel up to 5 days at a time depending on work needs.

Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent.
Must be able to pass Winnipeg Police Service Reliability screening.

Must have a current Class 5 license or 5i license.   

Must be able to work outdoors under varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.

Must be physically able to perform the requirements of the position (i.e., walk on uneven grounds, carry 75 lbs.)Must be able to obtain and maintain First Aid and WHIMIS Certifications
Must be able to obtain, and maintain licenses & certifications as required.

All offers are contingent on successful completion of a post offer physical & drug screen as well as a criminal background check and motor vehicle abstract.
