What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role:

• Partner closely with Product Owners and the senior leadership team to drive WeLab Bank's strategic growth agenda and key business priorities.
• Lead cross-functional business transformation initiatives, ensuring successful execution of strategic programs that enhance customer growth, operational efficiency, and business performance.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize business opportunities, projects, and new product initiatives based on strategic fit, commercial impact, customer value, and resource considerations.
• Drive the end-to-end development and launch of new products and business propositions, coordinating across business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and finance teams.
• Establish and maintain robust project governance frameworks, ensuring effective planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and delivery of key business initiatives.
• Foster alignment among senior stakeholders and functional teams, facilitating informed decision-making, effective issue resolution, and timely escalation when required throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration, manage expectations, and deliver business results.
• Provide regular executive-level updates on project progress, business impact, key risks, dependencies, and strategic recommendations.
• Promote a high-performance, collaborative culture that encourages ownership, innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
  

What is required and what we’re looking for:

• University degree or above with qualification of PMP
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in project management of FinTech, banking or insurance
• Experience in waterfall and agile project management and delivery
• Strong written and verbal communications, analytical, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent judgment with proven ability to identify problems and deal with complex issues
• Demonstrated leadership and business management ability to establish and manage a high-performance team
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize and deliver high quality work
• Self-motivated and a collaborative team player with great sense of ownership
• Fluent in verbal and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
