WBP: Current Account Senior Product Sales Manager

Within the Wholesale Bank, the Wholesale Banking Products Group focuses on transaction banking or flow businesses, i.e. current accounts, collection & payments solutions, trade services, forex remittances, capital market solutions as well as supply chain financing. We are focused on becoming India’s most respected Transaction Bank.

A Senior Product Sales Manager plays a crucial role in achievement of the yearly Budgets by leading and coordinating sales efforts for specific products or product lines. They are responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing sales teams, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets as well as monitoring and managing teams to ensure the set targets are met in an efficient manner. With a deep understanding of the market, product knowledge, and exceptional communication skills, Product Sales Managers drive revenue growth and establish long-term customer relationships in the Current Accounts Department.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to promote current account products and achieve sales targets.
• Identify target customer segments and create tailored marketing campaigns to increase product awareness and drive customer acquisition.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to stay ahead in the market. 
• Set sales targets and KPIs for the team, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback to drive results.
• Recruit, train and mentor sales representatives to build a skilled and motivated sales team
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including businesses and individuals, by understanding their banking needs and offering appropriate current account solutions.
• Provide personalized advice and guidance to customers, addressing their concerns and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Actively manage customer retention by proactively identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and deepening existing customer relationships. 
• Track and analyze sales performance, customer acquisition, and revenue growth using relevant sales metrics and reporting tools.
• Identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and implement strategies to optimize sales performance. 

• The candidate should be graduate
• The candidate should have 8-10 years of experience across banking/financial services/fintech industry
