Job Description
Join our team and play a vital role in keeping materials and products moving efficiently throughout our operation. As a Warehouse Operator, you will support day-to-day warehouse and production activities by safely transporting raw materials, components, and finished goods using a variety of material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, power trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products throughout the warehouse and manufacturing areas.
- Ensure timely and accurate material flow to support production and customer needs.
- Maintain inventory and transaction records while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Track operational metrics and support the creation and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
Schedule
2:00 pm - 10:30 pm - Monday through Friday (Evening Shift)
Required Qualifications:
- Forklift, Reach Truck experience
- Ability to obtain appropriate licenses/training/certifications as needed
- Be available to work extended hours including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds without restrictions required
- SAP applications
- Warehouse, Inventory Management Systems and Inventory Control Systems analytics and methods
- Lean Methodology knowledge preferred
- Ability to understand instructions
- Ability to clearly communicate verbally, writing and reading in English
- Ability to apply experience to complete assignments and to facilitate the work activities of others
- Ability to interact professionally with management team
