Warehouse Clerk

Job Description:

Duties:

• Control the functionality of the conveyor systems in the warehouse during production
• Make appropriate modifications to ensure the proper sorting of product
• Monitor conveyor systems to ensure proper throughput and speeds
• Work closely with maintenance team to ensure the sorting system is operating properly
• Maintain inventory counts through periodic audits

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
• Motivation skills to direct team
• H.S. diploma
• Prior experience in distribution
• Excellent attention to detail
• Basic computer skills required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of basic tracking, analyzing, and form creation
• Familiarity with Shiraz and/or other sorting systems a plus
• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds on a continuous basis, may require unloading cases from the lines as appropriate
• Position requires standing, sitting, squatting, twisting, walking, carrying, and bending on a continuous basis throughout the work shift
