About this role
- Maintain patient’s file and ensure all necessary and appropriate data entry is done on the HIS
- Obtain all relevant information from patients, relatives and other sources at the time of admission to complete the necessary forms.
- Act as a receptionist for the ward, receive and transmit messages and communicate with persons concerned.
- Responsible for unpacking and storing as appropriate ward supplies and re-stocking of ward areas and disposal of sharp bins in accordance with clinic’s policy.
- Prepare and send daily ward census to the concerned departments.
- Liaise with other departments or hospitals to make appointments for special treatment and/or follow-up.
