The Waiter is responsible for providing friendly, professional, and efficient food and beverage service to guests while ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction and service
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Present menus and provide information about food and beverage options.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages according to the required service standards.
- Ensure tables are properly set up before, during, and after service.
- Check guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and service areas.
- Communicate guest requests, dietary requirements, and allergies to the kitchen and relevant team members
- Handle guest complaints professionally and report any issues to the supervisor or manager.
- Prepare and present guest bills accurately and follow payment procedures.
- Maintain proper knowledge of menus, promotions, and daily specials.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, grooming, and health and safety standards.
- Upsell food and beverage items where appropriate.
- Attend departmental briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
