VISUAL MERCHANDISER

Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to join our team in the optical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing visual merchandising strategies that enhance the in-store experience, maximize sales, and reflect the brand’s image. This role involves designing eye-catching displays, ensuring the effective presentation of optical products, and working closely with the sales team to drive customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visual Merchandising Strategy: Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies that align with the brand’s identity and drive sales in the optical industry.
• Display Design: Design and set up visually appealing and effective displays for eyewear, optical accessories, and promotional items.
• Product Presentation: Ensure all optical products are presented in an organized and visually appealing manner, highlighting key product features and benefits.
• In-store Visuals: Manage the layout and organization of the store, ensuring that the visual flow encourages customer movement and interaction with products.
• Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure that visual merchandising aligns with sales goals and product inventory.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain brand consistency across all visual merchandising efforts, ensuring that displays reflect the brand’s image and values.
• Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest trends in visual merchandising and the optical industry, incorporating relevant trends into display strategies.
• Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory teams to manage stock levels, ensuring that display products are available for sale and in good condition.
• Event Support: Assist with the planning and execution of in-store events, promotions, and product launches, ensuring that visual elements enhance the customer experience.
• Reporting: Analyse sales data and customer feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of visual merchandising strategies and make necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser, preferably in the optical industry or a related retail sector.
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and retail display techniques.
• Creative mind-set with a keen eye for design and detail.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in visual merchandising software or tools is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and concepts clearly.
• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and during peak retail periods.
