About this role
Role Purpose
The Videographer is responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content for digital, broadcast, and social media platforms. The role ensures content is visually compelling, aligns with creative vision, and meets production standards.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production
- Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for video shoots
- Capture high-quality video content for projects, events, and campaigns
- Ensure footage meets technical and creative standards
Editing & Post-Production
- Edit video content, including cutting, color grading, and sound mixing
- Add graphics, titles, and effects as required
- Ensure final video output aligns with creative vision and brand guidelines
Content Collaboration
- Work closely with producers, content creators, and creative teams
- Contribute ideas for storytelling, shot composition, and visual style
- Align video content with project objectives and audience needs
Equipment & Technical Management
- Maintain cameras, lenses, and other production equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues during shoots and post-production
- Ensure all equipment is properly stored and ready for use
Innovation & Trend Awareness
- Stay updated on video production trends, tools, and techniques
- Experiment with new filming and editing techniques to enhance content quality
- Suggest improvements to video production workflows
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Quality, creativity, and timeliness of video output
- Alignment of videos with project objectives and brand guidelines
- Audience engagement and feedback
- Efficient use and maintenance of equipment
- Contribution to innovative production techniques
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in videography or video production
- Strong portfolio of video work demonstrating technical and creative skills
- Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
