Overview
We are seeking a Vice President, for our growing social strategy and content team with 8+ years of experience to lead social strategy and content development across a mix of B2B and B2C clients, specifically for executive content development and execution.
The ideal candidate is a strong strategist and writer who can move between senior-level counsel and hands-on content development. This person should have particular strength in executive social communications, including LinkedIn, X and emerging platforms, as well as a strong understanding of how organic and paid social work together.
The perfect candidate has direct experience developing paid strategies on LinkedIn, X as well as other social media platforms and understanding the mix of opportunistic and original content strategies that work to grow executive and brand social presence.
A senior social strategist who is equally comfortable building the strategy, shaping the idea and writing the post. They understand how content, executive voice, community and paid amplification come together to create social programs that earn attention and drive impact.
Experience in the following candidates is a bonus – healthcare, consumer healthcare, pharma communications, B2B technology, consumer technology and more. A diverse range of experience is appreciated.
Responsibilities
- Lead social strategies across B2B and B2C brands, translating business and communications objectives into platform-specific programs.
- Develop and oversee social-first content, including always-on programming, campaigns, thought leadership and real-time opportunities.
- Write and edit strong, platform-native social copy for brands and senior executives.
- Build executive social and thought leadership programs, including positioning, voice development, content pillars and editorial calendars.
- Advise clients on the evolving role of LinkedIn, X and emerging platforms in executive and corporate communications.
- Develop strategies across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
- Integrate organic and paid social, identifying opportunities for amplification and audience growth.
- Bring experience with paid social strategy and media buying, including targeting, optimization, creative testing and measurement.
- Use social listening tools, audience insights and performance data to refine programming and identify new opportunities. Make recommendations for optimal tools and be comfortable using AI for insights and research.
- Partner with creative, earned, influencer and integrated teams to develop ideas that can travel across channels.
- Counsel senior clients and executives on social trends, platform behaviors and reputational considerations.
- Mentor social team members while remaining comfortable getting directly involved in strategy, writing and content development.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in social media, digital communications, content strategy or integrated marketing.
- Strong experience across both B2B and B2C social strategy.
- Exceptional social copywriting and editing skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing executive LinkedIn and thought leadership programs.
- Strong understanding ofLinkedIn, X and emerging channels for executive communications.
- Experience developing paid social strategies, with familiarity with social buying, targeting, optimization and measurement.
- Strong understanding of social analytics, audience behavior and content performance.
- Ability to counsel senior clients and executives with confidence.
- A strong instinct for culture, emerging platforms and how brands can participate credibly in social conversation.

Compensation
In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $113K-$190K. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
