At Galaxy Vets, technicians are clinical leaders, not assistants to assistants. You are a medical decision-support partner to the DVM and a driver of patient care standards.

What Makes This Role Different
Each shift, you are a key clinical pillar.
You:
- Lead anesthesia and patient monitoring
- Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters confidently
- Initiate and manage fluid therapy
- Execute radiology safely and efficiently
- Monitor hospitalized patients and escalate concerns
- Educate clients clearly and compassionately
- Support surgical flow and sterile technique
- Help refine clinical processes and standards
You are empowered to practice to the full extent of your training and registration.
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced Veterinary Technicians
- Minimum 1–2 years of direct patient care experience preferred
- Strong anesthesia, catheter placement, and diagnostic support skills
- Confidence in urgent or high-pressure situations
- Excellent client communication
- A teammate who takes initiative and thinks critically
- Evening/weekend/holiday availability required (we believe in fair rotation)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a clinical environment, including bending, standing, stooping, kneeling, moving from room to room, and sitting; may be required to walk or stand for extended periods of time
