Greencross Warringal is searching for a passionate and experienced veterinarian to step into the role of Vet Director and lead our next exciting chapter. Following a significant investment in the clinic, Warringal is currently undergoing a complete transformation, with our brand-new, purpose-built hospital expected to be completed by November.

We're looking for a leader who is excited by the opportunity to influence not only clinical standards and team culture, but also the future direction of a growing practice. While we're hoping to have our new Vet Director in place when the refurbishment is unveiled, we're open to an earlier start date, allowing you to be involved in the transition and help shape the clinic from the outset.

Job Description

As Vet Director, you will combine hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities, guiding and mentoring the team while driving exceptional patient and client care.

This role offers the rare opportunity to establish a vision for a newly revitalised clinic, influence clinical direction, foster team engagement, and create an environment where both people and pets thrive.

You'll be supported by Greencross' extensive network of veterinary leaders and industry-leading professional development programs, while enjoying the autonomy to make a genuine impact at the local clinic level.

• Five dedicated consult rooms
• A purpose-built surgical suite

• Enhanced spaces for patients, clients and our veterinary team

About You

We're seeking a veterinarian who is:

• An experienced clinician with a passion for high-quality patient care
• A natural leader who enjoys mentoring and developing others

• Committed to collaboration, continuous improvement and clinical excellence
• Ready to build strong relationships with clients, patients and the local community

Previous leadership experience is desirable, but equally important is your ability to inspire, support and bring a team together around a shared vision.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or equivalent examinations. For further information, please refer to https://avbc.asn.au/
