ATA North is looking for reliable, professionalĀ Owner-DriversĀ to join our growing logistics network. This is a self-employed role offering a competitive day rate, consistent work, and exceptional earning potential. Because you provide your own vehicle and insurance, your take-home pay is maximised.
Whether you're an experienced multi-drop driver or looking to fully utilise the earning potential of having your own van, we provide the support needed to succeed.
Pay & Earning Potential
- Ā£180.00 day rateĀ āĀ Keep 100% of your earnings
- Pay structure:Ā Issued two weeks in arrears, then paid weekly thereafter.
- Simple self-employed payment process managed through Shield Accountancy (unless you operate via your own Ltd company).
- Additional earning opportunities available throughout the week to boost your income.
Your Typical Day
- Start times:Ā Between 07:00 and 09:00.
- Route:Ā Delivering across theĀ Glasgow postcode area.
- Volume:Ā AverageĀ 60ā80 parcel deliveries per dayĀ once fully trained.
- Reduced delivery volumes during your initial training/routing period.
- Schedule:Ā Monday to Friday working, with occasional Saturdays.
Requirements
- Vehicle:Ā Must own or lease a reliableĀ LWB or XLWBĀ (in good cosmetic and mechanical condition).
- Insurance:Ā Valid Goods in Transit and Hire & Reward (Courier) insurance.
- Licence:Ā Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass a background check.
- Multi-drop experience preferred but not essential.
