Utility Batching Operator- 1st Shift- Storm Lake Feed Mill

Schedule - Monday - Friday possible Saturday's

Hours - 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Pay - 23.45/Hr. plus 1.00 extra attendance bonus

Job Description:

• Utility Feed Batching Operator, you will play a crucial role in our poultry operations by ensuring the efficient and safe production of feed pellets.
• Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining pellet production equipment, receiving orders, loading and dispatching trucks, and maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Ability to accurately record data
•   Ability be able to operate scales and document incoming ingredients through the ticketing system
• Ability to operate equipment to unload feed ingredients and route to appropriate storage silo
• Ability to operate computerize pelleting and batching systems to batch, pellet, and route finished feed based on run schedules
• Ability to obtain and run quality analysis on required incoming ingredients
• Ability to lift and use hand tools to assist in unloading of ingredients
• Ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools
• Ability to operate loading equipment and ensure correct feed type is loaded and sent to the correct farm
• Ability to organize/flex task and change priorities throughout the day
• Ability to take Feed bin inventory
• Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling.
• Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species  
• Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
• Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required
• Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance
• Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.

• Minimum of 6 months of continuous employments with previous employer.
