About the role

Job Summary
The Production Worker / Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. This role supports the manufacturing process by identifying defects, maintaining equipment, and following production protocols.
This job profile is intended for support staff that follows established procedures and works under close supervision. Smaller/easier decisions are made autonomously.

Shift

Working hours will be determined by work load and shift coverage needs.  Start time will range from 3:30am to 7:00am and will end between 3:30pm and 5:00pm

Sulzer Turbo Services (STS) is an independent provider of services and repairs of critical turbomachinery.  We specialize in the repair, overhaul, and replacement of parts for high-speed rotating equipment such as steam and gas turbines, compressors, expanders, and other industrial rotating equipment found primarily in the Oil & Gas, Pipeline, Petrochemical, Ammonia, Nitric Acid, Fertilizer and Power Generation markets.

Position Summary

A professional in maintenance who is responsible for cleaning and performing basic maintenance on Sulzer’s buildings and properties.

Responsibilities

·         Observe Company Safety Policy and Procedures; follow an support all STS Safety Policies and ISO Procedures

·         Handle departments’ recycling and removing of all trash on a daily basis

·         Assure all cables, shackles, straps and chains are put away daily

·         Keep work area clean and well organized during all phases of the project

·         Work closely and clearly communicate with the other departments, including all Supervisors, Managers, Leadmen and hourly personnel

·         General cleanup of departments change room / restroom facilities

·         Provide assistance to Core departments as required

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Must be able to work overtime when necessary
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail
• Willing and able to learn in a dynamic environment

·         Have and maintain ability to use and operate the overhead cranes and forklifts
