We’re looking for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at The Smile Rooms in Malton. If you’re looking to start a career in healthcare and enjoy working with people, this could be a great opportunity to learn, develop and gain a recognised qualification.

The role & Practice 

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Typical shifts are Monday to Friday, between our opening hours of 7:45am–7:00pm
• Flexible to work one Saturday per month. 
• Starting rate: National Living Wage
• Fully funded dental nursing training, supported by an external course provider
• Hands-on training and support from our experienced and supportive nursing team
• 5-surgery, fully private practice
• Wide range of treatments including general dentistry, cosmetic treatments, repairs, care and advice
• Modern, well-equipped surgeries
• Work alongside a long-standing team of experienced clinicians and nurses
• Parking available nearby
• Located in the heart of the market town of Malton

About you 

We’d love to receive your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications: 

• Ideally Maths & English GCSE grade A-C/4-9 or Key Skills/Functional Skills Level 2 
• Confident communicator with an empathetic, service-focused approach 
• Keen to learn how to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in a wide variety of procedures
