Trade Experience Specialist (Merchandising)

Main Function:

A Trade Experience Specialist (Merchandiser) is responsible for planning and managing CB Foods product ranges, inventory, displays, and promotions. They collaborate with customers, distributors, demand planners and customer care, as well as Sales team to have the right products in stock, on the shelf and in attractive displays.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

· Maintaining relationships with Store managers, Meat room and Deli staff

· Answering their questions within a timely manner and provide updates about outstanding issues

· Responding to special requests

· Continuously educated about product offering including new products, specials and promotions

Organizing and Controlling Inventory

· Responsible for all sales and placement of orders

· Managing inventory levels to reduce returns and bad goods/spoilage

· Identifying sales opportunities for more existing and new products

· Selling in more of what the customer wants

· Successfully introduce new SKU’s and collaborating with Marketing to launch

Execution in Trade

· Maintaining store shelves by displaying products according to planograms provided to have optimum presence (includes cleaning and tidying shelves)

· Removing damaged or expired products

· Ensuring fridges are operating at the recommend temperature

· Placing the necessary POP materials within the store

Marketing:

· Assist with promotional activities:

· Set up displays

· Removal of any promotional items at the end of promo period

· Check daily on promotion and provide feedback

· Observe both Customer and consumer reaction to promotion
