In this role, the Lucid Tow Truck Driver will be responsible for spending majority of their time transporting vehicles between various Lucid service/delivery locations and customers. When not towing vehicles, support the service center as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate service tow truck/flat bed in a safe and legal manner in compliance with safety regulations
- Transport Lucid vehicles between various local Lucid locations and customer homes. Occasional travel outside immediate geography may be necessary
- Operate motor vehicles on and off Lucid premises safely for transport, pickup and delivery in support of service activities
- Complete daily inspection of the truck for safety and adheres to standard operating procedures
- Ensure trucks are kept clean and periodic maintenance is completed
- Assist service department members as needed (i.e. wash vehicles, tire changes, move and stage vehicles etc.)
- Performs other administrative and service support functions as needed
- Ability and flexibility to travel on an as-needed basis per business needs
- Ability to work the dayshift schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM with occasional weekend overtime
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years current tow truck driving experience (flatbed experience preferred)
- Ability to use basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office as well as leave proprietary DMS software
- Willingness to complete Lucid provided CPR training post hire
- Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year. Drivers under 21 must have maintained a Driver’s License for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Lucid Training upon hire
Where permitted by law, successful completion of a drug test and background check including, but not limited to, motor vehicle records is a condition of employment for Lucid service centers

Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off.
