Test Automation Engineer

Join our Trust Provisioning R&D; team and help build the automated testing platform behind
security solutions used in IoT, automotive, and secure identification products worldwide.
This is not a manual or UI testing role. We are looking for an engineer with a strong quality mindset
and solid software development skills who enjoys building automation, improving test infrastructure,
and driving software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Working in an international environment across Brno, Hamburg, and Graz, you will collaborate
closely with software developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to ensure our products are
reliable, scalable, and production-ready.

What You'll Do
• Develop, maintain, and enhance our C#-based automated test framework built on NUnit
• Design and implement automated backend tests
• Define test approaches and ensure adequate test coverage for new features and releases
• Manage and maintain test environments used across development teams
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and test environments
• Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate closely with development teams to improve software quality, reliability, and delivery
processes.

Must-Have
• Strong software development background with solid knowledge of C#
• Experience building maintainable test automation frameworks using NUnit or similar testing
frameworks
• Understanding of test strategy, test planning, and software quality assurance practices
• Experience managing and troubleshooting test environments
• Comfortable working in Linux and Windows environments
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
 

Of Advantage

• Experience with CI/CD platforms, pipeline development, and automation
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Jenkins administration and maintenance
• Familiarity with Ansible or other infrastructure automation tools
• Python scripting experience
• Experience in embedded software environments.

Education
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
