Job Summary
The Telesales Team Leader is responsible for managing the daily performance of the telesales team, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the achievement of individual and team sales targets. This role requires a strong sales leader with excellent coaching skills, a passion for developing high-performing teams, and the ability to analyze sales performance and implement strategies that maximize conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate the telesales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor daily sales performance and provide regular feedback to improve individual and team results.
- Conduct sales coaching sessions, call reviews, and role-playing exercises to enhance selling techniques.
- Track KPIs such as conversion rate, revenue, call quality, productivity, and target achievement.
- Develop action plans to improve sales performance and address performance gaps.
- Handle customer escalations and support the team in closing high-value opportunities.
- Ensure the team follows the sales process, CRM updates, and company policies.
- Analyze sales reports and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Training, Marketing, and Operations teams to optimize sales performance.
- Recruit, onboard, and support the development of new telesales representatives.
- Foster a positive, competitive, and high-performance sales culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in telesales, inside sales, or call center sales.
- At least 1–2 years of experience leading or supervising a sales team.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and performance management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use sales data to improve performance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Fluency in English is preferred.
