Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Assembles PTFE hose products, partially or completely, working at a bench

 

  • Perform bench and machine operations such as hose preparation and assembly of low, medium and high pressure PTFE hose for any type of Commercial hose application.

 

  • Read and interpret complicated blueprints, sketches or verbal instructions of PTFE assemblies.

 

  • Determine from blueprints and layout proper cut lengths, finish lengths and proper sequence of assembly and swagging and crimping.

 

  • Exercise good judgment in choice of correct tooling to produce desired finished products.

 

  • Keep work area and tooling clean and orderly.

 

  • Must feel comfortable working in a team environment.

 

  • Know how to prioritize work and react to special situations that arise.

 

  • Perform job in a safe and proper manner.

 

  • Required to use independent judgment when performing and planning to perform his/her tasks.

 

  • Perform other related duties that are required by Management.

 

  • Be able to demonstrate correct methods of manufacturing in the production area to employees and develop standard work procedures.
  • Assist in the training of new employees in the classification.
  • Guide and assist employees when management is not available.
  • Contact key personnel as necessary.
  • Know how to prioritize work and react to special situations that arise.

 

 

  • Required to use independent judgment when performing and planning to perform his/her tasks.

 

  • Help prioritize and plan work load in the department to run more efficiently.
  • Assist with process improvements and process efficiency.
  • Assist engineers with process and quality issues

Qualifications

Must have at least 1 year of Teflon Experience.
