Technician

Job Purpose (Significance of the role & Objectives)

As a technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes on the production line. You'll be responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that production targets are met safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverable.

• Read Instructions, Drawings, Digital communication and execute tasks as directed.
• Monitor Machinery, process, and handle tools as per safety standards.
• Inspect Finished Products. Supporting to NPI and design.
• Set up machines, Load and Unload Inventory.
• Adhere to Safety Protocols.
• Communicate with supervisors daily on progress of production and assist in process validation activities.
• Troubleshoot issues on machine, tools and process.
• Ensure all the operation are executed as per the requirement.
• Ensure safe operation of the process and machines.
• Inventory planning and management MRP, MES, ERP and execution.
• Production logistics planning
• Process documentation and traceability.
• Enforce strict safety guidelines.
• Evaluate Overall equipment effective utilization.
• Ensure safe use of equipment and schedule equipment maintenance.

Desired Qualifications: Required Qualification, Skill sets, and Experience

• Knowledge and experience in organizing the equipment, staff and processes on shop floor.
• Problem-solving skill. Ready to take the challenge in manufacturing. Managing the team. Focus on improvements. Self-driven.
• Monitor the production equipment and process; take readings and maintain appropriate documentation. Adhere to all safety procedures.
• Exposure to battery assembly line or Automated line.
• Knowledge on industry safety standards.
• Knowledge on JIT, JIS KAIZEN, KANBAN, INVENTORY management.
• Knowledge on lean manufacturing system and Industry 4.0, 5S.
• Knowledge on MRP, MES, ERP, HMI.
• Knowledge on machines and manufacturing process
• Knowledge on quality inspection and documentation like standard operating procedures, Work instruction, Quality process
• Experience in Troubleshooting issues.
• Knowledge on JIT, Inventory, and traceability.
• Coordinating and reporting day-to-day activities with TL.
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
• Experiencing in managing three or more assembly workers.
• Process knowledge for manufacturing. Knowledge in job allotment.
• Education: Diploma / ITI (electrical / mechanical background).
• Experience: 02 - 04 Years.
