As our customer base continues to grow in Europe, we're looking for a Technical Specialist – Enterprise Solutions who can combine SAP technical expertise with customer-facing support, implementation, and pre-sales responsibilities.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond a traditional SAP development or support role. You’ll work directly with customers, help solve real business and technical problems, participate in implementations and pre-sales, and continue building your expertise across the SAP technology landscape.

The Opportunity

As an SAP Technical Specialist, you will be an important technical resource for our European customers and internal teams. You’ll provide first-line technical support, help troubleshoot critical customer issues, contribute to implementations, and support pre-sales activities in German.

We are not primarily looking for a developer. We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation who wants to broaden their skill set, work directly with customers, and become a versatile technical resource across SAP, enterprise applications, and VersaFile’s solutions.

For the right person, this role can grow significantly over time. As your knowledge of VersaFile’s solutions and the SAP ecosystem develops, you may take on greater responsibility for technical implementations, solution design, customer requirements, and pre-sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a first-line technical resource for VersaFile customers across Europe, including responding to support requests during European business hours.
  
• Take ownership of high-priority and P1 incidents, including system-down situations, and coordinate internal resources to drive timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across SAP, VersaFile solutions, integrations, middleware, and related enterprise technologies.
• Reproduce customer issues, investigate root causes, and collaborate with Product and Development teams on complex technical problems.
• Support customer implementations through configuration, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
• Participate in customer discovery and requirements-gathering sessions to understand business and technical needs.
• Translate customer requirements into practical solutions using VersaFile products and the SAP technology stack.
• Support European projects as a technical resource, with the opportunity to take a lead technical role as experience and expertise develop.
• Support pre-sales activities, including technical discovery, solution design, proof-of-concepts, and customer demonstrations.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to German-speaking customers and prospects.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing responsive, knowledgeable, and professional technical support.
• Continuously develop expertise across SAP, BTP, middleware, integrations, APIs, document management, and VersaFile’s solutions.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in a technical, application support, software implementation, ERP, or SAP-related role.
• Basic understanding of SAP, SuccessFactors, ERP systems, enterprise applications, or business process automation.
• Exposure to software configuration, technical troubleshooting, integrations, or application support.
• Familiarity with SQL, APIs, XML, JSON, scripting, or software development concepts is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to speak and interact in German (B2 proficiency)
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a distributed team.
  
  

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), or ABAP.
• Experience supporting enterprise software implementations.
• Familiarity with document management systems such as OpenText, SharePoint, or other ECM platforms.
• Understanding of cloud-based applications and integrations.
• Experience delivering software demonstrations, training, or customer support.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field.

Location

This is a remote work-from-home position for candidates located and working within the Central European Time Zone (CET). Occasional travel may be required.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: €45,000 – €65,000 EUR annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
