Job Summary
Workday Prism Analytics Consultant – Annual Pay and Group Performance Analytics
Role Purpose
Design, develop, and support Workday Prism Analytics solutions for annual pay review and group performance analysis. The role integrates Workday and external data, creates governed datasets, and delivers secure analytics that help HR, Reward, Finance, and business leaders assess pay outcomes, performance distribution, equity, affordability, and organizational trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering for annual compensation, performance, calibration, and executive reporting use cases.
- Design Prism data pipelines, transformations, derived datasets, calculated fields, and data refresh schedules.
- Combine Workday HCM, Compensation, Talent and Performance, and external data sources into governed analytical datasets.
- Build reports and dashboards covering pay recommendations, budget consumption, compa-ratio, merit distribution, performance ratings, differentiation, exception trends, and organizational comparisons.
- Define data-quality checks, reconciliation rules, lineage, controls, and audit evidence for sensitive reward and performance data.
- Implement role-based security and appropriate access controls for personal, compensation, and performance information.
- Support testing, deployment, release management, user training, operational documentation, and production support.
- Partner with HR, Reward, Finance, Data, Security, and Privacy teams to ensure compliant and responsible use of analytics.
Required Skills and Experience
- Hands-on Workday Prism Analytics experience, including data discovery, ingestion, transformation, publishing, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Workday reporting, calculated fields, security, business objects, and HCM data structures.
- Experience with compensation and performance analytics, including annual pay review processes and organizational-level analysis.
- Strong SQL and data-modelling capability; experience with large-volume datasets and data reconciliation.
- Understanding of GDPR, data minimization, retention, access control, and handling of sensitive HR data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convert analytical requirements into clear, decision-ready outputs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Workday Prism Analytics certification is preferred.
Relevant Workday Reporting, HCM, Compensation, or Talent certification is advantageous.
