Job Summary

A Functional Analyst in this domain is responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements related to SAP OpenText VIM. This involves understanding the needs of the business and translating them into functional specifications. They configure and customize the SAP OpenText VIM system to meet the specific needs of the organization, including setting up workflows and approval processes.
2. Integration is another crucial aspect, ensuring seamless integration of SAP OpenText VIM with other systems such as ERP and financial systems. This involves working with technical teams to design and implement integration solutions. They also conduct thorough testing of the SAP OpenText VIM system to ensure it meets the business requirements and functions correctly, creating test plans, executing test cases, and documenting results.
3. Providing training and support to end-users is essential to ensure they can effectively use the SAP OpenText VIM system. This includes creating training materials, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing support. Additionally, they create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, customizations, and processes, ensuring a clear record of how the system is set up and can be easily referenced in the future.
4. Continuous improvement is a key responsibility, identifying opportunities for improving the SAP OpenText VIM system and processes. This involves staying up-to-date with new features and functionalities and implementing enhancements to optimize the system.
5. Ticket Management: The Functional Analyst is responsible for managing and resolving tickets related to SAP OpenText VIM. This includes categorizing, prioritizing, and assigning tickets to the appropriate team members.
6.Issue Resolution: They work on resolving issues reported in the tickets, which may involve troubleshooting, debugging, and providing solutions to ensure the smooth functioning of the SAP OpenText VIM system.
7.Collaboration: The Functional Analyst collaborates with other teams, such as technical support, development, and business users, to gather information, understand the issues, and provide effective resolutions.
