Technical Sales Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Specialist.  The successful candidate will be organized and motivated to provide excellent customer service to support the overall sales efforts of Vector.  You will:

• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve overall sales objectives.
• Issue product pricing and follow up
• Perform Microsoft Dynamics Sales Case entry and tracking
• Work with SAP for Pricing and Order Processing
• Support internal and external sales inquiries as needed
• Initiate and prepare customer quotes in a timely manner.  Monitor status and verify accuracy.  Follow up on quotes and purchase orders as needed. 
• Process customer orders including posting of order, shipping documentation, and invoicing.
• Facilitate information flow between functions to expedite orders to ensure successful order fulfillment; ultimately ensuring the customers’ expectations have been met.

Key Qualifications:

• 1-5 years inside sales or industry-related experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Motivated and willing to take on new tasks
• Proficient computer skills, especially with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and Outlook
• Extremely detailed organizational skills
• Adaptability/Flexibility (Hybrid work)
• Ability to work well both independently and within the team
• Excellent interpersonal, team, and problem-solving skills. 
• Premium customer service minded
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline; or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience.
