Job Description

To strengthen customer relationship in México, we are looking for additional team members.Anton Paar is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of high-precision laboratory and research measuring instruments. We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative with a strong scientific background and commercial skills to drive the growth of our laboratory analytical instrumentation business in the Northeast region of Mexico.

Develop and manage the laboratory analytical instrumentation business within the assigned territory by strengthening relationships with existing customers and generating new business opportunities.

• Manage and grow a customer portfolio including quality control laboratories, R&D laboratories, universities, and research centers.
• Prospect and develop new accounts in industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, petrochemicals, cosmetics, and materials.
• Conduct technical customer visits to identify analytical needs, provide consultation, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and application support.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and customer projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with laboratory analysts, laboratory managers, researchers, quality managers, and purchasing departments.
• Promote cross-selling opportunities across multiple instrumentation product lines.
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets and product line budgets.
• Record and manage sales opportunities using the company's CRM system.
• Travel extensively throughout the Bajío and Northeast regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry (QFB), Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in technical sales, applications, or technical support for laboratory analytical instruments.
• Previous laboratory experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory instrumentation, including density measurement, viscosity measurement, material characterization, physicochemical analysis, and related technologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with scientific and technical professionals.
• Strong negotiation and sales closing skills.
• Self-motivated, well organized, and results-oriented.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (technical reading and conversational skills).
• Willingness to travel extensively and drive throughout the assigned territory.
• Residence in Monterrey, Querétaro, or Coahuila preferred.
