Job Summary
The Campus Infrastructure Team Lead is responsible for technical coordinating the onsite campus infrastructure team supporting the enterprise network environment at the Walldorf / St. Leon-Rot locations, for one of our customers.\r\nThe role ensures efficient planning, prioritization, and execution of onsite infrastructure activities such as cabling services, hardware installations, and IMACD requests. The Team Lead acts as the primary coordination point between the onsite team, the customer’s Network Technology organization, and internal global network operations teams.
Campus Infrastructure Technical Lead – Network & Cabling Services\\\\r\\\\nLocation: Walldorf / St. Leon-Rot, Germany (On-site)\\\\r\\\\nRole Overview\\\\r\\\\nThe Campus Infrastructure Team Lead is responsible for technical coordinating the onsite campus infrastructure team supporting the enterprise network environment at the Walldorf / St. Leon-Rot locations, for one of our customers.\\\\r\\\\nThe role ensures efficient planning, prioritization, and execution of onsite infrastructure activities such as cabling services, hardware installations, and IMACD requests. The Team Lead acts as the primary coordination point between the onsite team, the customer’s Network Technology organization, and internal global network operations teams.\\\\r\\\\nKey Responsibilities\\\\r\\\\n· Lead, work together and coordinate the onsite Campus Infrastructure team, ensuring effective task distribution and workload planning.\\\\r\\\\n· Plan, prioritize, and execution of IMACD activities (Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission) related to network infrastructure and hardware.\\\\r\\\\n· Coordinate installation and maintenance activities including racking, patching, structured cabling, and WLAN access point installations.\\\\r\\\\n· Act as primary point of contact for complex onsite infrastructure issues and support incident resolution when required, while coordination with external electrical / network companies and customer Facility team.\\\\r\\\\n· Ensure compliance with operational procedures, cabling standards, and documentation requirements.\\\\r\\\\n· Monitor infrastructure consumables (patch cables, optics, stack cables, etc.) and coordinate ordering and inventory management.\\\\r\\\\n· Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure changes, cabling layouts, and hardware installations.\\\\r\\\\n· Ensure telecommunications rooms and cable plant areas remain secure, organized, and compliant with operational standards.\\\\r\\\\n· Collaborate with customer teams, global network engineering teams, and external vendors to support infrastructure projects and operational activities.\\\\r\\\\nSkills & Experience\\\\r\\\\n· Solid experience working in enterprise network infrastructure or structured cabling environments.\\\\r\\\\n· Previous proven experience into onsite infrastructure activities, for large network\\\\r\\\\n· Strong understanding of structured cabling systems (copper and fiber) and network hardware installations.\\\\r\\\\n· Familiarity with enterprise ticketing systems, change management, and asset inventory tools.\\\\r\\\\n· Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities.\\\\r\\\\n· Fluent German (C1 or higher) and good English communication skills.
