Technical Lead

                                                                                                        We are seeking an experienced AS/400 Production Support Engineer with 7-10 years of experience in supporting and maintaining business-critical AS/400 applications. The role involves production support, troubleshooting, batch monitoring, application maintenance, impact analysis, and change management activities while ensuring system stability, performance, and availability. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in RPG and CL programming, AS/400 utilities, and ERP environments such as Infor XA.

• Provide production support for AS/400 applications, ensuring system stability, performance, and availability.
• Develop, modify, enhance, and maintain batch and online programs using RPG/400, RPGLE, CL/400, CLLE, and ILE.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution using AS/400 utilities and tools.
• Execute batch monitoring and work management activities on AS/400 platforms.
• Conduct impact analysis using tools such as X-Analysis or HAWKEYE.
• Manage and support job scheduling processes using tools such as ROBOT.
• Perform data handling, reporting, and query development using SQL/400, Query/400, DB2/400, DFU, and OS/400 commands.
• Support change management processes using ALDON, TURNOVER/400, Implementer, or similar tools.
• Assist in application modernization and integration efforts with web services and newer technologies.
• Document technical solutions, support procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams for issue resolution and continuous improvements.
• Participate in shift-based support activities and ensure adherence to SLAs.

Preferred Skills
