Job Title: Technical Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect with a strong foundation in Solution Architecture to join our dynamic team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust architectural solutions that align with business objectives and enhance system performance. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural principles, methodologies, and best practices, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive architectural solutions that meet business requirements and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure optimal system performance and scalability.
• Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance on best practices for software development and system integration.
• Document architectural designs, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to promote architectural vision and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
• Support the development team in troubleshooting and resolving architectural issues during the software development lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Solution Architecture principles and practices.
• Proficiency in designing scalable and high-performance systems.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and API design.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in security architecture and best practices.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Solution Architecture or related disciplines are a plus.
• Proven track record of successful architectural design and implementation.
