Team Lead, Global Procurement

What You Will Do
- Lead and oversee daily procurement operations, ensuring purchase orders are processed within service level agreements and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage procurement activities for supported markets, including sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract support, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor performance metrics, prepare operational reports, and collaborate with customers and business partners to address procurement challenges and opportunities.
- Coach, develop, and manage team members through performance feedback, resource planning, training, and ongoing professional development.
- Partner with Category Managers, Local Procurement Operations, Business Process Excellence teams, and suppliers to drive compliance, improve service delivery, and support business objectives.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives, update procedures and documentation, support audits, and implement innovative procurement solutions.
What We’re Looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or another related business or technical discipline.
- At least 18 months of procurement experience, including sourcing, bid evaluation, supplier engagement, and procurement process execution.
- Proven people leadership skills with experience coaching, developing, motivating, and managing teams to achieve operational goals.
- Proven stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to resolve complex procurement and supplier-related issues.
- Knowledge of supplier management, procurement systems, international trade practices, logistics, foreign trade regulations, and Incoterms is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Experience in multinational organizations, supplier negotiations, and international procurement operations is considered a major advantage.
- Procurement shared services experience is an advantage, along with a willingness to work flexible schedules when required.
