Talent Coordinator | 4-Month Contract

General Job Information:
Job Purpose: To support the sourcing, screening, and management of candidates. To source and interact with potential candidates online and offline, conduct initial candidate screenings, and set up interviews. The position requires the ability to build talent pipelines for semi-skilled and skilled roles, provide market insights, and ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates for stakeholders.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- 1-3 yearsβ experience in recruitment or a related role
- Experience with sourcing techniques and methodologies (online and offline)
- Experience building future talent pipelines
- Familiarity with recruitment processes, job boards, or candidate management systems.
- Experience in presenting candidate profiles and/or recruitment updates to hiring managers
- Ability to conduct screening calls
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
- Grade 12
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES
Stakeholder Engagement & Requirement Gathering
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and qualify key role requirements.
- Identify non-negotiable screening criteria to align candidates with business needs.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders up to manager level to ensure alignment and progress.
Sourcing & Recruitment Support
- Support the design and execution of sourcing strategies to help achieve timely candidate placements.
- Utilise platforms such as Workday for candidate searches and job postings.
- Craft and send targeted recruitment emails to attract suitable candidates.
- Engage with potential candidates on professional networks and social media platforms.
- Assist in networking, name gathering, and headhunting for niche or hard-to-fill roles.
Candidate Identification & Screening
- Identify, engage, and screen potential candidates based on role specifications.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future semi-skilled and skilled hiring needs.
- Compile market research reports to assess candidate availability and sourcing feasibility.
Interview Coordination & Process Management
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Follow through with candidates and hiring teams to ensure a smooth recruitment process and experience.
- Provide appropriate resolutions for tasks or deadlines not met.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Identify and escalate risks or prevention opportunities to avoid potential losses.
