Systems & Network Admin Trainee (IT)

We are looking for a Systems & Network Administrator Trainee to join our IT team and support both our internal IT infrastructure and the operational support of the digital platforms we deliver to our clients.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in systems administration, networking, IT operations, and application support while working alongside experienced professionals. You will contribute to the smooth operation of our internal technology environment, while also participating in the monitoring, maintenance, and support of customer-facing solutions.

Ultimately, you will build a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, troubleshooting, cloud services, and production support, developing both your technical expertise and professional skills in a real business environment.

What we expect from you...

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network and computer systems.
• Support the monitoring and daily operation of the organization's infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot first-level hardware, software, network, and application-related issues.
• Participate in the monitoring and operational support of customer applications and cloud environments.
• Assist with incident investigation, issue resolution, and escalation following internal procedures and SLAs.
• Support software deployments, updates, and routine maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records through the company's ticketing system and technical documentation.
• Assist with user account administration, access management, and license administration.
• Collaborate with both the IT and Development teams to ensure reliable and secure service delivery.

Main Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain PCs, networking equipment, routers, switches, VPNs, and internal IT systems.
• Monitor servers, infrastructure, and customer applications using monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and production application issues.
• Assist with software updates, operating system maintenance, and security patch management.
• Record, categorize, and track incidents through the ticketing system.
• Support customer environments by performing basic operational tasks, configuration changes, and routine maintenance.
• Assist with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to operational procedures and knowledge base articles.
• Support IT asset inventory and collaborate with Development teams on incident resolution and service improvements.

We would like to talk to you, if you have...

• You are currently studying or have recently graduated in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• You have a basic understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and IT infrastructure.
• You are familiar with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• You have a basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network troubleshooting.
• You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You communicate effectively in both Greek and English, verbally and in writing.
• You have a genuine willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow professionally within a collaborative environment.

We would greatly appreciate if you also have...

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Basic understanding of web hosting technologies, DNS, SSL certificates, or Cloudflare.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or relational databases.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident management concepts.
• Previous academic, internship, or personal projects related to systems administration, networking, infrastructure, or application support.

• Hands-on experience in a modern IT environment, supporting both internal infrastructure and customer-facing digital platforms.
