We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer who is passionate about complex multidisciplinary rail projects and enjoys solving problems and finding solutions that meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.

 

Your role

 

  • Lead systems integration activities during the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Lead and facilitate working groups and interface workshops.
  • Develop interface requirements documentation and interact with the Requirements Management and Validation & Verification (V&V) disciplines.
  • Ensure effective interaction with:
    • Customers and stakeholders.
    • Design management and technical disciplines.
    • Construction management and delivery teams.
    • Operations and maintenance teams.
    • System safety and security disciplines.
  • Support construction and installation activities in the field.
  • Support testing and commissioning activities.

 

About you

 

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent and is a member in good standing of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Holds or is interested in obtaining a CAMP or PMP certification (considered an asset).
  • Has experience developing, documenting, and validating systems integration activities throughout the lifecycle of an asset or project.
  • Has experience in light rail transit, subway, or commuter rail systems, with specific expertise in systems integration.
  • Has strong knowledge of systems engineering processes and the EN 15288 standard, as well as knowledge of CENELEC standards and processes.
  • Possesses knowledge of engineering and systems integration practices and processes, with practical experience implementing them.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint.
  • Able to lead discussions with partners, customers, and suppliers, and interact with technical experts in a delivery management capacity.
  • Demonstrates excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to present to audiences of industry experts.
  • Fluent in French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
