Suspended Ceiling Installer

We are looking for experienced suspended ceiling installers to join our Christchurch team.

From commercial fitouts to large-scale construction projects, no two jobs are quite the same. Our work takes us across Christchurch and occasionally further afield around the South Island, giving you the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of projects.

About Hush Interiors

Hush Interiors has been delivering suspended ceilings, partitions, and interior fit-outs across Canterbury since 2007. We work on a broad range of commercial projects, from offices and schools through to retail, industrial, and healthcare environments.

We are known for quality workmanship, reliability, and taking a practical approach to getting the job done right. As our workload continues to grow, we are looking for experienced installers to join the team.

What you will be doing:

• Turning plans and drawings into high-quality finished installations that are completed accurately.

• Installing suspended ceiling systems to a high standard, whether working independently or leading a crew on site.

• Understanding seismic requirements and applying them correctly to ensure compliant, quality installations.

• Contributing to a safe, well-run site where everyone looks out for each other.

• Maintaining high standards by checking completed work with a keen eye for detail and taking pride in the finished result.

What you will bring:

• Solid experience installing suspended ceilings, ideally 5+ years in commercial construction.
• A strong understanding of ceiling systems, industry best practice and delivering quality installations.
• The ability to confidently read plans and specifications.
• A keen eye for detail and pride in producing great work.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and the confidence to take initiative on site.
• Relevant trade training or qualifications (preferred).
• Your own tools and reliable transport.
