The Performance Supervisor is a hands-on digital media specialist responsible for managing and optimizing Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns across a portfolio of clients. This role combines campaign strategy, execution, performance analysis, optimization, and client support to deliver measurable business outcomes.

As a key member of the performance media team, the Performance Supervisor provides day-to-day guidance to junior team members, contributes to strategic recommendations, and helps ensure consistent campaign excellence across accounts.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the day-to-day execution and optimization of integrated Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns across assigned client accounts.

  • Support the development and implementation of performance media strategies aligned with client business objectives and KPIs.

  • Execute campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Search Ads 360, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Snap.

  • Leverage AI-powered campaign solutions such as Performance Max, Demand Gen, Advantage+, and AI Max to drive performance and efficiency.

  • Conduct account audits to identify optimization opportunities, performance gaps, and recommendations for campaign improvement.

  • Monitor campaign performance, budgets, pacing, and bidding strategies to ensure efficient delivery and achievement of client objectives.

  • Analyze campaign and business data to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Support measurement and attribution initiatives through the use of GA4, GTM, Floodlight/CM360, Meta Conversions API, and other tracking solutions.

  • Assist in activating first-party and CRM data through privacy-compliant approaches, including Customer Match and audience-based targeting solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver reporting that clearly communicates performance results, insights, and optimization opportunities.

  • Serve as a trusted day-to-day client contact, building strong relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Analytics, Strategy, Client Services, Finance, and other specialty practices.

  • Mentor and support Coordinators and Specialists by providing guidance, coaching, and best-practice sharing.

  • Contribute to process improvements, innovation initiatives, and knowledge-sharing efforts across the performance media team.

  • Stay informed on platform updates, industry trends, privacy changes, and emerging technologies impacting performance marketing.

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Media, Communications, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in digital performance marketing, either agency-side or client-side.

  • Strong hands-on experience managing Paid Search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and SA360.

  • Experience managing Paid Social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, and Snap.

  • Knowledge of AI-driven campaign products, automation tools, and advanced bidding strategies.

  • Strong understanding of measurement, tracking, and attribution solutions, including GA4, GTM, Meta CAPI, Floodlight, and CM360.

  • Experience leveraging first-party and CRM data within digital advertising platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

  • Strong client communication and presentation skills.

  • Highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.

  • Demonstrates integrity, accountability, initiative, and a growth mindset.

  • Relevant platform certifications (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, Microsoft Advertising, etc.) are considered assets.

The salary range for this position is $70k-$77k. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
