Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage MRE Engineering Technicians who are responsible for executing DET Guzik and QMT testing activities, supporting production and engineering operations through accurate data collection, analysis, troubleshooting, and tester buyoff.
  • This role ensures test quality, equipment readiness, and timely data reporting to support continuous manufacturing performance and quality improvement.
  • Oversee MRE operations operators/technician attendance
  • Work closely with Sputter engineers and MRE Engineering for accurate and prompt execution.
  • Provide refresher training sessions for the team to ensure everyone remains up to date with current processes and standards to keep technicians aligned, including assigning regular OJT, ensuring OJT questions are up-to-date to reflect latest lab practises.
  • Communicate and chair meetings related to MRE, tardiness, safety and discipline with operators and lead improvement projects related to MRE Operations
  • Supervise and manage direct reports

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or related field; or
  • Experienced professional with broad industry exposure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting skills in related process

  • Adaptability to a dynamic working environment & cleanroom
  • Initiate continuous improvement projects relevant to MRE Operations
  • Lead, coach and train technicians or junior operators; prepare training material.
  • Continue to explore new ideas for improvement
  • Liase closely with other depts for good teamwork and leverage positive outcome
  • Coordinate IMS audit preparation and documentations
  • Flexible to carry out tasks assigned by supervisors
