Job Description
- Support the day-to-day management and development of a team responsible for fund accounting, NAV reporting, and financial reporting deliverables.
- Review and oversee client deliverables, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion.
- Support team planning, training, and workload management to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Lead audit and financial reporting activities, working closely with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain strong controls, compliance, and high standards of client service.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and support operational and technology initiatives.
- Oversee fee billing and collections for assigned clients.
- Support the team with ad hoc projects and other responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent) would be considered an asset.
- Good knowledge of financial reporting.
- 4+ years of experience in fund administration, investment management, auditing, or a similar financial services environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Advanced Excel skills;
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering excellent client service.
