Sapphire Utility Solutions, a Lanes Group Company specialise in multiple divisions.
Sapphire Traffic Management Solutions have depots across the UK. Our fleet cover high and low speed solutions supported by the in house CAD, Planning and Streetworks Team to ensure compliance and accuracy.
The Team utilise the latest technology to minimise disruption to allow works to be undertaken safely while keeping the road network moving.

Purpose of the role:

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Streetworks Coordinator based in Leyland to support our Streetworks Team. This is based on a 4 on 4 off rota 32 hours per week (08.00am-16.30pm). As a Streetworks Coordinator for our Streetworks Team, you will administer all Streetworks permits and notices in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) and New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA). You will be Leyland based (Monday to Thursday). Work from Home (Friday to Sunday).

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with our team to enable operational delivery of the work to be carried out 
  • Manage the coordination of streetworks permits by applying for them on the various systems and ensuring that the permits are in place for the traffic management to be put in place. 
  • You will monitor the permit dates and ensure that jobs are closed down if no permit is extended 
  • Dealing with queries
  • General administration duties

Key Requirements

Skill and Experience:

  • Strong Attention to detail / Accuracy
  • Previous experience working with Permits and notice on Street Manager or similar
  • Computer literate
  • Able to demonstrate a flexible approach
