Job Description

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Storeperson to join our Hallam operations team.

This hands-on role is responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, storage, movement and dispatch of goods while ensuring inventory accuracy and delivering excellent support to internal stakeholders and customers. You'll play a key role in maintaining warehouse operations, supporting workshop activities, and ensuring products are delivered accurately and on time.

Safety is at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, organised and customer-focused warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely receive, unload, inspect and store incoming goods.
  • Accurately process goods receipts and dispatch transactions within Rotork's ERP system.
  • Pick, pack and prepare products, spare parts and equipment for dispatch, ensuring goods are protected during transit.
  • Load and unload vehicles using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Coordinate freight collections and liaise with transport providers as required.
  • Support workshop teams to ensure customer products are processed and dispatched in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records, stock locations and inventory transactions.
  • Participate in stocktakes and cycle counting activities.
  • Ensure Certificates of Conformity and relevant shipping documentation accompany products where required.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, safety observations and process improvements.
  • Support compliance with HSE policies, procedures and quality requirements.

Qualifications

About You

You are a proactive and dependable team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment. You have strong attention to detail, take ownership of your work, and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment (3+ years preferred).
  • Current Forklift Licence.
  • Current valid Victorian Driver's Licence.
  • Experience with goods receiving, inventory management and dispatch activities.
  • Comfortable and proficient using ERP systems, warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands.
  • Effective communication skills with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.
  • Fit to performΒ the inherent requirements of the role.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
